Harness Catch — Installation Instructions

Fits: 2020–2024 & 2025+ Polaris RZR (2025 variant pictured)
Installation time: ~15–30 minutes

Tools Required

Drill
3/16" drill bit (or similar size*)
1/4" drill bit (or similar size*)
10mm or 3/8" wrench

*Similar drill bit sizes work. We recommend nothing larger than 7mm for the final hole.

Step 1 — Remove the Seat

Remove the seat from your RZR and set it on a stable work surface.

Step 2 — Position & Align

Lay the seat on its side. Hold the harness catch up to the shoulder frame and align it in the correct position.

Note: Align the back plate of the harness catch flush with the rim of the seat frame. This ensures a secure, stable fit once tightened.

Note (2025+ seats): The drilled hole should fall within the wider section of the plastic lip shown on the backside of the seat. Use this image as a placement reference before drilling.

Step 3 — Pilot Hole

With the harness catch aligned, mark or center your 3/16" drill bit in the catch hole. Remove the catch, then carefully drill through the seat frame. Keep the bit perpendicular — drill straight through. Use reverse to back the bit out and clean the hole.

Step 4 — Final Hole

Switch to the 1/4" drill bit and open up the pilot hole to final size. Use reverse again to clean the hole before moving on.

Step 5 — Mount the Catch

Align the harness catch over the drilled hole and insert the M6 bolt through the catch and seat frame. From behind the seat frame, slide on the washer, then thread on the lock nut by hand.
